Welcome to Black Sheep Sawdust — a place where faith, craftsmanship, and restoration come together.
A few years ago, I found myself facing deep mental health challenges that shook my sense of direction and peace. Life felt heavy, and I struggled to stay grounded. But in the middle of that season, two things helped me find my way back: my faith in Jesus Christ and the quiet, steady work of woodworking.
Working with wood became more than a hobby — it became therapy. The sound of the saw, the smell of fresh-cut lumber, the patience required to shape something from nothing… it gave me a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time. At the same time, leaning into my faith reminded me that even broken pieces can be restored with purpose.
Black Sheep Sawdust was born from that healing journey. Every piece I create is shaped with intention, craftsmanship, and gratitude — a reminder that peace can be found in the process and beauty can come from struggle.
Whether you're here for handcrafted goods, inspiration, or simply connection, thank you for being part of this story. My hope is that what I create brings warmth, encouragement, and a little more light into your home.

'So Jesus told them this story: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!
